About the position
The Driveway Grading Operator is a part of the operations team and assists the Lead Grading Operator in providing driveway / road maintenance and repair. Dirt Cheap Driveways, Inc. works on both residential driveways and private access roads. This position is responsible for secondary grading operations using diesel skid steer tractors and also routine repair and maintenance for the equipment.
Requirements
Seasonal: Mon – Fri. April through mid November. Work schedule varies.
Provide skid steer support during driveway grading / repair projects.
May be asked to run errands during remote grading operations.
Provide manual labor such as raking road materials, digging with hand tools, walking extended distances from driveways to the company truck, toting equipment to and from the job site and helping secure equipment to hauling trailer.
Occasionally interacting with driveway customers regarding their projects.
Traveling to and from projects and the equipment lot.
Show dependability for early morning starting times.
Collaborate well in a team operation.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability for working near heavy equipment.
Occasionally provide safety and traffic control operations.
Must have a strong work ethic.
Able to take specific instruction.
Able to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
